Why we started

Good practice papers are not hard to find. Good practice papers that load when your connection is bad, that do not lose your answers when the browser crashes, and that tell you something useful afterwards are much harder to find, and they are usually sold at a price that assumes your family can afford a coaching centre.

So we built the opposite. One price for every class, one payment for a full year, and the whole report given to the student who earned it.

How the papers are written

Each paper is written by a subject teacher, then reviewed by a second one who solves it cold and flags anything ambiguous. Only then does it go into the schedule.

We keep the question count honest. If a series says 32 papers, there are 32 papers, and none of them is a five question quiz padded out to make the number look better. When a question does turn out to be wrong, we re-score it for everyone who attempted that paper and republish the ranks, rather than quietly leaving it in the bank.

Why a rank needs a shared window

A rank only means something if everyone sat the same paper against the same group of students. A fixed 9am slot makes that impossible for someone in a boarding school or someone who has school that morning, and letting people take a paper whenever they like across a month means the rank is comparing strangers.

The 24 hour window is the compromise that keeps both halves: one shared paper, one shared group, and enough flexibility that your timetable is not the thing deciding your score.
