Refund and Cancellation Policy

When we refund, when we do not, and how to ask. We have written the awkward cases out in full rather than leaving them to interpretation.

01What you are buying

A test series is a digital product. When you buy one, the full schedule, the papers and the reports become available to you immediately, and they stay available for 12 months.

Because access is immediate and the material can be read the moment it is unlocked, a test series is not returnable in the way a physical product is. The policy below is our attempt to be fair about that rather than hide behind it.

02When we will refund you in full

You are entitled to a full refund in any of the following situations.

  • You ask within seven days of purchase and have not opened a single paper. This is the ordinary change of mind case and we do not ask why.
  • You were charged twice for the same test series. We refund the duplicate in full, whether or not you have used the series.
  • A technical failure on our side prevented you from taking a paper, and our logs confirm it. If it is a one-off we will usually offer a replacement paper first, but a refund is yours if you prefer it.
  • You were charged and never received access, and we cannot restore it.
  • The test series was materially not what the page described at the time you bought it.

03When we will not refund you

We want this to be unambiguous, so here are the cases where a refund is not available.

  • You have opened one or more papers and then decided the series is not for you, and more than seven days have passed.
  • You missed a paper because you did not sit it inside its 24 hour window. Windows are published in advance and visible from the day you join.
  • You are unhappy with your score or rank. A low score is information, not a defect.
  • Your internet connection or device failed during a paper. The paper is stored on your device precisely so that this does not cost you the attempt, and in almost every case the answers are recovered.
  • Your access has been closed for sharing an account or distributing question papers.

04How to request a refund

Write to info.udaanvidya@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with "Refund request" in the subject line.

Tell us which test series it is, the order or invoice number from your receipt email, and one line on what went wrong. That is all we need.

We acknowledge every request within one working day and decide within three. If we need something from you, we will ask once and clearly rather than sending you around in circles.

05How long it takes

Once a refund is approved, we release it through Cashfree to the original payment method the same day.

From there it takes five to seven working days to appear, depending on your bank or UPI provider. That part is outside our control, but we will send you the reference number so you can chase it if it takes longer.

Refunds always go back to the method you paid with. We cannot send a refund to a different card, account or UPI id.

06Cancelling your access

There is no subscription to cancel. A test series is a single payment for 12 months, and nothing is charged to you again automatically.

If you want your account and data removed before the 12 months are up, write to us and we will do it. Deleting your account ends access to any series you have bought, and that is not itself grounds for a refund.
